Westmoreland Art Nationals Applications
The
Westmoreland Art Nationals 2010 Entry Forms
are now available. The
exhibitions are open to ALL artists 18 years and older. There is
a non-refundable jury fee of $35 and check or money order can be
made payable to WAHF. Entry deadline is March 26, 2010. Now in its 36th
year, the Westmoreland Art Nationals
has showcased local, regional, national and international artists
for over three decades. The Exhibition is unique in that it offers each
artist the opportunity to enter two separate shows under one fee,
which increases their chances of selection. One or more pieces may
be chosen for each venue. In turn, this gives our selected artists
increased exposure to the thousands of patrons who view the
exhibition each year. Presented by Westmoreland Arts & Heritage
Festival in partnership with Westmoreland County Community College,
Westmoreland Art Nationals is truly a one of a kind exhibition.
The first exhibition takes place at Westmoreland County
Community College and runs from June 5 through June 16, 2010.
There will be an opening reception and awards presentation on
Saturday, June 5th from 7 to 9 pm. The
second exhibition will be held during the Westmoreland Arts &
Heritage Festival at Twin Lakes Park, Greensburg, PA from July
1st
through July 4th, 2010. There will be an awards ceremony held
on the Island Stage at Twin Lakes Park on July 3rd at 3 pm. Housed in two designated galleries within the park,
the exhibition is on display to the 150,000 visitors who pass
through the Festival each year.
