The Artist Market includes over 200 booths filled with professional craftspeople and artisans who offer fine woodworking, jewelry, metal art, stained glass, leather, ceramics, folk art, and more.

Westmoreland Art Nationals

The Festival includes the professionally juried Westmoreland Art Nationals Fine Art & Photography Exhibitions featuring Pennsylvania-based, regional, and national works providing visitors an opportunity to view and purchase traditional as well as cutting edge works. The first exhibit is held at the Westmoreland County Community College beginning at the end of May through the beginning of June. The second exhibit takes place onsite at the Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival.

Visual Arts Scholarship

Each year, our Festival awards a scholarship to a high school senior residing in Westmoreland County with intentions to enroll full time in a visual arts program at an accredited college or university.

Performing Arts

Our 2017 Performing Arts application is now available. There is no deadline to apply. Applications are now being considered and will continue until all stage spots are filled.

The Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival offers an extensive and diverse performing arts lineup throughout our four day Festival. We have showcased performers from all genres of music and dance and continue to search for new and exciting artists to entertain our audiences.

Literary Arts

We strive to bring the arts and humanities to the community of Westmoreland County through our annual juried Poetry & Short Story Contest.

FestivalCon

This annual exhibit of cartoon and comic art, located in the Center Gallery throughout the Festival, is a popular attraction for fans of superheroes, anime, and cartoon characters.
